A midwife is a health professional fully trained to take charge of care and services during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period up to 6 weeks after the birth.
Midwife prenatal care includes all necessary clinical examinations and ultrasounds, prenatal screening tests and various laboratory analyzes.
